MONOTONY - A FREAKOUT


               Monotony: - A Freak-out
An alarm rings aloud and the eyes wide awake! After a blurred image of curtains, roof, window.....”Where am I?” recollecting....slight thinking and then the vision of the clock 8 am. Oops! Jumping off the bed ....almost falling on the floor. Rushing to the washroom, Brushing.....freshening ....rushing to the room again.....Wearing clothes and then ......BREAKFAST...Opening the fridge! Well! What would cook fast? “Last night rice and cereal?”I ask myself...”Naaaah”...a sudden inner voice. OATS...EGGS...BREAD...FRUITS...BREAD! “Oh Yes! Bread will do...and tea! Perfect!
It’s already 9 am and I am still struggling to wear my shoes. Finally all set! And reached office. Dot 9.30 am.Perfect!
But then...........the never-ending battle to fight till 6 pm.Trying hard to work but cannot.Same office with good appraisals but no enthusiasm. Same faces, same meetings, Same tea, Lunch break and OHHHHHH! It is 6 pm.Time to go back.YIPEEEEEEE!!!
At least a tinge of excitement ....Very very happy I am but only till I realize that I have to walk on the same roads, colonies and finally room.UHHHH!!
Well! Well! ...If you too feel the same way which I experienced a few years ago. Do not worry folks! You should know that you are in the phase popularly called as "monotony."
An old phrase says “it’s a phase and it will pass by.”
Monotony is something which needs to be overcome by bringing variations in life. There are a lot of monotony hacks which will lighten up your mood! So here it goes!
1. CHANGE YOUR WARDROBE
It is observed that people who often do shopping and keep bringing variety in their clothes are happier as compared to the ones who follow the same pattern.Shopping day makes you go on cloud nine! So each day wearing a variety of clothes can cheer you up and relieve from the boredom!
2. IDENTIFY YOUR INTERESTS APART FROM WORK
Every individual has something or the other unique factor in him. It could be music, dance, designing, art, photography etc.So identify it and then incorporate it into the daily schedule. For instance, take up a gymnasium class or a photography class on weekends. These kinds of leisure activities bring variations and optimism in life.
3. DEVELOP A HABIT OF READING BOOKS
Books which have fantasies, fictions are a great source of creating one’s own adventure land. You might have read the stories of Alice in Wonderland, it described the girl named as Alice who would dream and enter into the wonderland. So similarly when one reads a book, he can create his own dream world full of fantasies which can surely break the monotony.
4. KEEP DISTANCE FROM MOBILE PHONES OR COMPUTERS AT HOME
Technology should be used in a limited way.Less usage of the cellphones at home, more your mind will get fresh and will want to think life beyond cellphones.
So, the above-mentioned hacks can definitely reduce the monotony or so-called boredom in ones' life.These methods will prove to be the best source of variations and happiness in life.
