DHADAK REVIEW

Well ! DHADAK is a  recent  movie which is still been shown in the cinema. Ive been going through lot of reviews online and been listening to people's perplexed opinions around me as well.Their reaction, comments, comparisons would bring a mixed reaction about this movie.

ABOUT THE MOVIE
The movie is starring Jhanvi Kapoor playing the role of a girl named as Parthavi Singh and boy is played by Ishan Khattar namely Madhukar Bhagla. Both of them have been launched in the B-Town through this movie .Although the music is something which everyone is praising but on the contrary what I found interesting was the second half (after intermission).

VIEWPOINT
Initially I would like to talk on the First half, which was quite good and energetic as well! The song "Zin Zin Zingaat" is a foot tapping song and is one of the best song out of all.I liked Jhanvi's expressions and I found her pretty as well.(without any comparison with her mom Late Sridevi). Her black tresses toppled around her face all the time, which seemed quite beautiful for me.Though there are many flaws which I can count. The villager accent is not delivered smoothly and "yeah -i-am-trying-too-hard"kind of attitude is reflected  by the female actor. The touch of her urbanisation is solely reflecting in her tone.Whereas the male actor has given much promising reactions throughout.
I believe that taking up a project something like DHADAK from the scratch of one's life would not be productive.Everyone knows that it is a remake of SAIRAT a Marathi film which is directed powerfully that its mere teaser would bring goose bumps to the viewers. Its direction and the music has a strong impact although the storyline is similiar. Now why the Marathi film went blockbuster and Dhadak is struggling for a HIT because of the direction and the pace of the movie. The storyline is not a problem here.Eloping of couples and thriving the circumstances is a common subject.(Neglecting the latter part). What I found was little disturbing was not being able to touch the audience's heart. The emotions of love were somewhat artificial in the first half.Though second half struggle does make sense for me.Now the second half was something which is called a practical life. The real world which the couple had to face after taking a big decision of leaving their parents. How the girl had to sweep the floor, the envious eyes of the boy after he saw her better half sharing "Papri" with her boss !And that Slap! though it was a frustration and love as well. One thing more I was forced to think about the second half of the movie was Jhanvi expressing her emotions in the movie which might be real in the second half after the tragic moment which she and her family had to face in the midst of her shooting. So it makes this second half somehow a touching section of the movie. All in all its an average movie .It is not a bad movie though irrespective of any comparisons. One who is extraordinary emotional will definitely get engrossed in the movie throughout.
I would rate 3 stars out of 5. Cheers!!!

Book the show and grab a popcorn!
